Quote of the day: Friendship is life's most treasured gift.
I just drove my mom to LAX. She's going to visit China for a month again. Here I am, all alone. It's quite silly but the thing my mom worry most about me while she is gone is...eating. She cooked enough food for me to last a week, bought bags of apples, oranges and grapes, and left me money to buy take out. She was going to buy me eggs to boil, but decided against it because she is afraid I can't boil eggs. This is really sad. My mom has no faith in my cooking abilities. She probably think I'd burn down the kitchen if I tried to cook, so she took the safe route.
Anyway, I just went to Las Vegas again a few days ago. It was really fun. Lawrence and I went around and applied for player's club membership at all the casinos. We are not gamblers or anything. In fact, the only game we really play is roulette. We got the cards because members receive special deals in the mail. I just hope my mailman doesn't try to kill me because I have so much junk mail...haha. I also subscribe to a lot of magazines, so that'll probably increase the mailman's urge to strangle me to death. Sad.
My friend Theresa recommended us to eat at the Paris buffet. It turned out very good. I love their desserts. They make the best tiramisu!!!

For some reason, everyone thinks I am Japanese. Even Japanese people. When we were at the MGM, a seemingly confused Japanese lady walked up to me and asked me if I can help her. I do understand some Japanese because I've always been interested in learning Japanese. Unfortunately, I don't know enough to help her. I felt kind of bad because she appeared very lost. I hope she did eventually figure out what to do.
Now on to school. I still have one more quarter left at UCI. I don't even know where I will be afterwards. The first thing I want to do before working is to travel. I want to visit all the Asian countries, then go on a Euro trip and finally visit the Americas. There are way too many places I want to visit. And oh, I just know I have to go to Turkey someday. I used to be, and still am, in love this manga series by SHINOHARA Chie called Anatolia Story. It takes place in the ancient Turkey. I love the series so much I even read the history about the Hittite Empire. It's full of adventure, intrigue and romance. I'm such a sucker for dramatic stories. Haha.
Lately, I've been Netflixing and Blockbustering so much DVDs and reading so much manga that I haven't had time to play any videogames. It's truly very sad. My friend Lorenzo said that it makes him and the games sad. Now I feel like I've neglected my PS2. Poor baby. I guess I will play some game later today after Lawrence arrives. He'll probably be working, so I'll just play my Star Ocean 3. It's been so long since I last played the game I can't even remember where I am. And I still need to finish my Harry Potter book. >.<;;
