Random Compliments

: Eating yummy food

: No quote today, brain cells have not yet been recovered.

Due to various reasons, I have to live on fast food or to-go food for 2 months. Like usual, I went to order to-go food at an Asian cafe called Ledo after school tonight. After ordering, I sat down on the chairs next to the register, and waited patiently for my food. I was bored, so I just watched people come in and leave. As these two guys were leaving, one suddenly turned to me and asked, "Hello, how are you doing?" I thought, ok, this is really random. So I replied, "Fine, thank you." (Generic, yes, I know. What else can I say?)

Then, out of the blue, he told me, "Your damned fine." I suppose it is a flattering comment. However, I just thought it was plain awkward. I guess it was probably because I was so tired and sleepy, and the random comment just kind of woke me up. Thank god they didn't just stop in front of me and wait for a response, because I'd probably have said something stupid. The only thing the two guys did was keep on looking back when they walked outside, but at least, they weren't next to me. What a random day.

    "Youre damn fine!"
The truth hurts doesn't it :)

Sure it's a bit ... awkward. But would you have prefered to hear "Were you ever cited for looking too beautiful, cause you got FINE written all over you."

Spontaneity is the spice of life, otherwise life would be boring.
